The Anthropological Explanation of the Summer Snowsapien

II) The Colonial Period

How the torch/snowball was carried/rolled in the underground from ancient history to Tommy Shovelface via secret societies and unsung heros and chance and dance?

the Nowadays! neo-colonial

In recent years the effects of Global warming have found scientists and scholars searching for a rhyme and reason for the future of life on earth. In the Great Lakes, Midwest region of North America the winters have gotten less and less wintery, less and less whitewashed, less and less chill. Whereas the nearsighted have relished the convnience of not shovelling, not bundling up, etc, forgetting.... a select few have remembered, and reiterate: EXPOSED FLESH FREEZES

After years of colonized living, the summer snowmen remember their roots and find their pride. For the shortsleeve colonizers it all seemed so savage the way the snowsapiens sported about in what would to any normal be winter apparel, year round, even as the shortsleevers sweat puddles in the swealtering summer months.

III) The Nowadays Era

A) Post-Colonial:

My country. My parade. My perogotive.

B) Post-Modern:

Include email dialogue between Shovelface and Iggy Igloo from fall 2000 shortly after the first parade run in which there is an interesting discourse about the possibilities for the organization. e.g. being more political and anti-consumerism through subliminal ironical means and thoughts about performance art and theories of underground and popularization and social change and all this and that.

C) Post-Ironic:

Let the sun shine; Let the snow fall... open to interpretation...
